Julia Merino is an Integrated Creative at the UK's largest creative agency with over 10 years experience in the industry.
Working by herself, or alongside a copywriter as part of a team, Julia spends her time conceptually thinking up creative platforms, expanding campaigns to reach audiences through the line, art directing video and stills shoots, working closely with designers to execute ideas and jumping on design, editing or animation programs to visualise her ideas.
Her recent work includes BACARDI's pan-European integrated campaign, "Do What Moves You", taking her idea from initial briefing through to execution and the multi-award winning Guinness "Compton Cowboys", reporting to the agency's Deputy ECD's to amplify the campaign through long form content, short form social and digital out of home. Between these massive projects she found time in the last year to help Visa "win the World Cup", the agency win IKEA and create work for Samsung, Martini, Hop House 13, Guinness Storehouse, Dixons, Celebrations, Twix, Pepsi and Maltesers.
Her work has won awards including D&AD and been featured in top industry publications including a co-published article between Facebook and Creative Review as a best in class example of creating campaigns for the former's platform. Anuncios, the leading industry magazine in Spain, featured her work for Guinness on its cover (despite the work only running in the U.K.& Ireland) and did a two page feature on her.
She has a keen interest in design, having spent her earlier career as a Designer and when she is not working she will most likely be found in an art gallery or with a paint brush or pen in hand.
She is proficient in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop, has a good knowledge of Indesign and Cinema 4D and a basic knowledge in coding.
